When Making Your First Appointment
Please have these information ready when making your first appointment with us. In order to provide quality care to our patients, we see patients by appointment only. Please Call Us to make an appointment.

- Your contact number (Cellphone number)
- Type of condition which you would like to receive treatment for
- Your desired appointment time & date. (Your first visit will take approximately 90 to 120 min.)
- Your practitioner preference. (An English speaking practitioner will be in charge of your treatment. However, if you would like to be treated by our director, Taiken Jo, please mention that when making an appointment. There is an additional fee of 3,000 yen per session.)

Complete our Patient Intake Form
Please download and complete our patient intake form before your visit. You may download the form from our Download Section. If you are not able to download the form, then you may arrive 20-30 eary to fill them out at the office. If you have any blood test data, treatment schedules, which you would like to share with us, then bring them along for treatment reference,.

Your initial appointment
Your initial appointment consists of thorough examination and treatment. Please expect 90 to 120 min on your first visit. Successive visits will take approximately 60 min per session.
Appointment Policy
Please try to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for your appointment. We are very careful in keeping our schedule on time, so that it is unusual for you to be seen more than a few minutes past your scheduled time. Arriving early allows you to rest a few minutes and allow your pulses to calm for the visit. When a patient rushes to make an appointment, it disturbs the qi and pulse. We want to make sure that you benefit fully from a complete treatment session, and this is another reason to come a little early.

After Treatment
Taking good care of your body is essential if you are trying to benefit fully from acupuncture treatment. Acupuncture treatment enhances your self-healing mechanism. Therefore, your lifestyle will also affect your rate of improvement. A healthy lifestyle leads to better healing.
Internal Bleeding
In rare cases, it’s possible that you find a bruise on the areas where the needles were inserted. On some occasions, you may feel a little discomfort remaining around such places. The discomfort will usually not last for more than a few hours and the bruise will disappear in less than a week. Should you have any concerns, please contact our office.
