About Us
Our name "Acura" originates from acupuncture "acu", and "cura", latin phrase for cure. "Acura" implies curing by acupuncture. Our century's greatest inventor, Thomas Edison has been quoted " The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest her or his patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet and in the cause and prevention of disease." Our utlimate goal is to be able to be able to go one step from further cure..... to care....so that our patients will be able to take great care of themselves through a well-balanced lifestyle. It's ironic, but our practice continues to grow, not from patients who repeatedly need to come back for more visits, but from patients who are able to gaing lasting results through life-style management. While acupuncture is not a quick fix, it delves into the root cause of the symptom rather than surperfical check-up. Doing a paint job on top of rusted surface might look good momentarily, but you will need to get it painted again and again only after a short period of time. Good work take a little bit of effort and time, but will be guaranteed longer lasting results.
